Staying Productive Working from Home

Master the art of focus when the sofa is calling your name! Create a workspace and routine that actually works for you.

Working from home is the ultimate dream—until you realize the laundry needs doing, the dog wants a walk, and Netflix is just one click away. To build a successful business, you need to master your environment and your time. Let's build some bulletproof habits!

Design Your Command Centre

You don't need a massive corner office, but you do need a dedicated space. Even if it's just a specific corner of the kitchen table, claim it! When you sit there, your brain needs to know it's "go time." Invest in a good chair—your back will thank you when those profits start rolling in.

The Magic of Time Blocking

Don't just write a to-do list; block out time on your calendar for specific tasks. Give yourself 90 minutes of uninterrupted time for deep work (like writing or designing), then take a real break. Use the Pomodoro technique (25 minutes work, 5 minutes rest) if you struggle with procrastination.

Dress for Success (At least the top half!)

While working in pajamas sounds great, it can trick your brain into thinking it's a lazy Sunday. You don't need a suit, but put on clothes that make you feel sharp and ready to tackle the day. It subtly shifts your mindset from "lounging" to "launching."

Set Firm Boundaries

This is the hardest part. When you work where you sleep, the lines blur. Decide what time you "clock off" and stick to it. Close the laptop, mute the notifications, and step away. A rested entrepreneur is a successful entrepreneur!
